Mammograms for Best Friends

Most of us know someone who has been touched by breast cancer.   October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I thought this post was quite appropriate.  Put breast cancer in focus.  Do all you can do to protect yourself from breast cancer.  Follow the recommended schedule of breast-care screenings.  Use a buddy system, go with your "best friends" to get mammograms and enjoy lunch or a movie together afterward.  Early detection is so important.

Fall Foliage

Have you observed the beauty of the leaves the past few days.  Thankfully the rain and cold have subsided in Central PA for a few days and the array of colors on the trees is simply stunning.  I always enjoy this time of year.  The transition from warm weather to cooler snuggle up weather.  At the same time we are also transitioning with the excitement of launching a business, perfecting recipes, designing labels with colors and patterns.  This is an exceptional season already!

Smelly Jelly

Have you ever heard of a smelly jelly?  It is a polymer that is rehydrated with water, when scent is added it becomes a great air freshener.  Smelly jellies are a wonderful alternative to burning a candle.  We just created smelly jellies with some tremendous scents that are perfect for autumn and the upcoming holiday season.  Tara and I have been busy as bees getting creative in the kitchen. 

What scents do you like?

With so many scents to choose from we want to know what you like. Everyone has an opinion and we want to know yours. Some people love florals others love fruity scents. If patchouli or earthy scents are your favorite tell us. This will be helpful in having a variety of scents that meet everyone's needs. Names are important too. This is so exciting

We have been very busy getting ready for the upcoming Christmas Extravaganza. Holiday scents are so wonderful, wait til you smell what we've chosen. With so many choices out there it is hard to narrow it down to just one or two. We'll have "Body dust sets" complete with a powder puff. Sugar scrubs to help keep rough dry skin areas at bay, and packaged perfectly for in the shower. Many choices for great Christmas gifts. We are getting sooo excited!
